If you are in need of your High School Transcript, please do one of the following:
 
Download the Request Form -Mail to the address on the form
                                                Fax to 610-599-7039
 
 
You may also e-mail diorios@bangorsd.org to request a High School Transcript.
Please include the following information:
 
Name used while in high school
Year of high school graduation
Birth date
Where the transcript is to be sent
 
Once the transcript is received, it will take anywhere from 24 - 48 hours to be sent out.

These instructions are for past graduates not seniors.

Northampton County Chiefs of Police Association

The Northampton County Chiefs of Police Association announces the creation of a $1,000 college scholarship.  To be eligible the student must be a resident of Northampton County, PA.  The student must be enrolled as a Criminal Justice or another police related science major at any accredited college or university.  The student must have maintained a cumulative GPA in high school of at least 3.0.

PLEASE BE ADVISED THAT THERE ARE COMPANIES THAT WILL ATTEMPT TO SOLICIT YOU AS A CLIENT FOR COLLEGE SCHOLARSHIP AND ADMISSION SERVICES. BE WARY OF ANY COMPANY THAT CHARGES A FEE OR CONTRACTS FOR A FEE TO ASSIST YOU IN FINANCIAL AID OR COLLEGE COUNSELING. 2012 paper FAFSAs will not be available in the guidance office. Students will be able to obtain a paper FAFSA by calling the Federal Student Aid Information Center at 1-800-4-FED-AID(1-800-433-3243) or by visiting www.edpubs.org.

 

Students may request up to three copies of the paper application and should receive their FAFSAs in three to seven business days.

I WILL POST APPOINTMENTS WITH ADMISSIONS REPRESENTATIVES FOR THE 2018-2019 SCHOOL YEAR AS I RECEIVE THEM. 

PLEASE SIGN UP IN GUIDANCE FOR ALL COLLEGE VISITS -  VISITS WILL BE AT 1:30PM IN GUIDANCE CONFERENCE ROOM.

Admission Representative from each of the colleges/universities listed will talk to students about the admission process, financial aid, scholarships, and general information about their institutions.








PSAT/NMSQT

The PSAT/NMSQT will be held at Bangor High School on October 11, 2017 in the morning. 

All tenth grade students will be taking the PSAT free of charge.

Any eleventh grade student wishing to take the PSAT may sign up in Guidance. 

East Stroudsburg University Instant Admit Day

BHS Guidance Office will once again host the East Stroudsburg University Immediate Decision Day for our seniors. Time and date has not been set for 2017-2018 school year.

Seniors may sign up for this event in the High School Guidance Office.

Interested seniors will be given an appointment time from Guidance.

BHS OFFERING THE SAT SCHOOL DAY!
We will offer the SAT during the school day on Tuesday, April 10, 2018. The registration period has concluded. Registered students will receive an informational booklet in the weeks prior to the exam. It is strongly suggested that students take advantage of free SAT prep on Khan Academy. The Khan Academy app is preloaded on their BASD IPad.
